Tool selection look good. But I got a universal rotary tool kit (for my Dremel) and lots of the tools don’t fit including the replacement chucks which means the small drills don’t fit. This is sold next the Dremel in the shop without explanation or qualification or instructions. This speaks to something about the quality of this store. Not sure what.Looking at the reviews they seem good up to about a year ago then form then on they seem very poor. What happened about a year ago? Someone leave, new manager perhaps?Perhaps Metcash should stick to groceries.

After being laid off from my travel-related job due to COVID; I’ve entered the world of construction as a complete noob - and I mean total noob! What could have easily been a daunting and demoralizing experience wandering into a tool shop, actually proved to be an exhilarating one. I was served by Ben who was willing and able to craft his communication at my small-child level of understanding! Respectful, friendly and super helpful in assisting me to get kitted out with the tools I needed. Total Tools O’Connor will be the only place I source my tools from!

Great place with a good selection of tools, brought a chainsaw and was told needed bar oil which was incorrect as item came with enough bar oil for my purpose, arrogant sales personal lets the place down.

Extremely poor customer service, online stock level never seem to reflect the in-store stock level - half the time they cant locate the product or its not in-stock.. Staff always seem irritated and short tempered.

Every time I come here I'm reminded why I buy almost everything online.Absolutely useless in terms of customer service, literally the worst retail experiences I have ever had.Came in, staff love talking to each other but not the customers. Asked for help, he will get to me in a minute (that's totally fine I understand they are busy). 15-20 minutes later he finishes with his customer, rather than help me as he mentioned he goes off and helps someone else. 30 minutes later he comes back, item I want out of stock, cant order it in, cant transfer it from another store (both fair enough) no help with other items, no suggestions. 1 hour standing around to be told we don't have this, no additional help.I don't know why I keep coming back here, 4 times I have come in, 4 times I've left with a similar story. I wont make that mistake again. Good range of tools, absolutely pathetic customer service.

Seems like ordering in a tool is to much trouble for old mate at the front counter.I wanted a saw, which they only had the demo for sale. It has a few surface scratches, and seeing as I they wouldn't give me a discount on this one, I wanted them to order in a new one. Old mate then lied by saying that I would have to wait up to 4 weeks to get one. I walked out of the store and bought elsewhere.I hate to break it to you guys, buy only sell power tools. There are plenty of other options so customer service matters.
